This morning we will take a flight to Ulaanbaatar, arrival and drive to “Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex” which is currently the biggest (40m high) equestrian statue in the world. There is a recreation area, restaurants, and souvenir shops occupy the base structure. From here, we use an elevator or walk to the head of the horse through chest and back neck of the horse, where we can have farseeing and good panorama view over the complex area. After lunch, transfer to Gun Galuut Nature Reserve in the valley of the Kherlen River across the green steppes. A visit to the Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve is a treat for wildlife enthusiasts and for anyone who appreciates the truly extraordinary landscapes Mongolia offers up. Mountains, rivers, lakes, and wetlands provide a unique and varied habitat for some of the world’s most rare and endangered species. The Argali or Wild Mountain sheep, with its characteristic curly horns, has a protected home here, as does the Siberian White Crane which summers on the reserve’s Ayaga Lake. There is also the opportunity to enjoy a range of optional activities in this beautiful setting, including horse and camel riding, fishing, kayaking, cycling and archery. We will visit to local nomadic family to experience the lifestyle in the country side, which has not changed for centuries. You can learn their daily duties and if you wish you can participate as well. Also we will do some horse riding activity with support of family man. Overnight in Ger camp.
