Today, Orkhon Valley is a large place of nomadism where many breeders usually set up their Gers. The picturesque steppe landscapes, surrounded by the verdant Khangai Mountains, the rich fauna and flora, make this area the perfect place to discover the nomadic Mongolia. We can also visit monasteries, such as Erdene Zuu Monastery, that is the oldest Buddhist monastery of Mongolia, Tuvkhun Hermitage – that was once a lifetime retreat High Saint Zanabazar, who was a great sculptor and one of the biggest representatives of Buddhism in Mongolia. All these places show the religious traditions of the Mongolian nomads. In the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation and start our journey towards to Ogii lake, which covers 27 sq.km areas, average depth is 6.64m and has length of 23.5m. The lake is abundant in various types of fish and birds, which create an incredible natural beauty. Ogii Lake is known as the one of the best lakes for fishing and delicate sand, whetstone coast and the soft waves makes very pleasant for boat adventure. Arrive at lake area late afternoon and transfer to the ger camp. Prepare for your horse ride and enjoy the wilderness. Horse riding practice around the Lake Ogii. Stay overnight in Ger camp.
Enjoy your breakfast over the admiring sunrise. As the terrain is hilly steppes, perfect for horseback riding, we will cover 35-40 km each day with great views and wilderness as well as lots of fun. Enjoy and learning experience of Mongolian horses and stay overnight at tent.

We will continue to ride and arrive in Karakorum in the afternoon. Kharkhorin, formerly known as Karakorum, once was a capital of Chingghis Khaan's Great Mongol Empire in the 13th century. Today, in the wide valley of the Orkhon River, ancient monastery Erdene Zuu coexists with Kharkhorin town. We will visit to newly opened Kharkhorin museum which displays artifacts mostly of Great Mongolian Empire time and Erdene Zuu Monastery complex museum respectively. Transfer to Ger camp, take shower and enjoy the evening with good dinner and cold beers. Stay overnight in Ger camp.
On these days we ride our horses to legendary Tuvkhun monastery, in Khangai Mountains. Tuvkhun Monastery, one of most beautiful monastery complex, situated on a forested rocky mountain called Shireet Ulaan, which elevated in 2300 meters above sea level. It was a meditation center and creation house of famous sculptor Zanabazar, who is Mongolia’s first Bogd (living Buddha), a leader of the Mongol state and Mongolian Buddhism in 17th century. Visit the legendary monastery and hear the stories related to the Saint Zanabazar, explore the beautiful surroundings and enjoy some leisure times. Overnight tented camp.

The surrounding areas of the waterfall were formed by volcanic activities dated back approximately 20,000 years (possibly Quaternary period). Flows of Orkhon River created a 130 km long canyon through the lava plateau. We also enjoy from scenery and wilderness and riding distance will be 25-30km each day. Visit to the nomadic families on horseback to see their lifestyle and witness their hospitality, and ride in the vast valley of the Orkhon river. Overnight tented camp.

Today, we’ll leave our horses and say goodbye to horse keepers. We drive to Elsen Tasarkhai via Karakorum. Arrive in Elsen Tasarkhai, enjoy camel riding on the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, and visit to local camel herding family. Stay overnight in Ger camp.
After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive at Ulaanbaatar, and you will be transferred to your accommodation. End of the tour.
